Numb With Grief

At night, I w e e p, unable to s l e e p (The day somehow passes in pain) Alone with none to comfort memories flood my mind flowing out as dreams built of gravestones Sorrow chasm numbs all pain
27th April, 2017 (Note: 'gravestones' counted as 2 syllables, and not 3 syllables as wrongly mentioned in howmanysyllables.com) For contest: Form N - Ninette or Nonet Sponsor: Broken Wings

Jo, this is so sad. I can feel the sorrow of your words as they rip at my heart. You sure have a way of expressing emotions so they completely engulf the reader. Wonderfully written, desperately sad. Best wishes in the contest.
