Nothing Looks Better

I put the magazine down gave the guide a look read another chapter in a very long book days are long nights are even worse a dreamless sleep my insomniac curse drank a pot of coffee all by myself wiped down the counters cleaned a few shelves I went to work put in a long day there's just no fun when you're away got my hair cut had lunch with some friends it fills some time but the hours never end I even went shopping tried on some stuff in blue but nothing looks better on me than you

Missing a significant other can certainly cause everything you list -- and the rhythmic muted musicality of your piece seems just right for your subject matter. Good work.
