Normal Like You
I wish that I could be normal like you
Love one man wholeheartedly
And, Smile through and through
I wish that these scars were not
Attached to my spirit and soul
That I could let a man "see" me
But, not as a half as a whole
I wish that I could be normal like you
And welcome the Sun
Hear, the love of my life
Say That I am his blessing
And that I am his only one
Time shifts, endless captures
Wayward motions cripple
Sway and stick like glue
But, I can never be "normal" like you
Love is a peculiar oddity that creeps
And dives as it may
And even if I shared my love
I know that He can not stay
For man is but a fickle a creature
Undocumented savage, they speak
With no accord
And to my heart, my self esteem
None of their in-between nature I can afford
But, I wish I could be normal like you
And dance with his dreams and reality
So, that he would always comfort, love and protect me
But, the men of courage, WARRIOR BOSS KINGS are scarce.
Yes, very few
And I can never be "normal" just like you.
But, I'm glad that you're happy
At least one of us gets to be.
