Noble Or Downright Low
In the haze
of lies and doubts
all that's glinting and prisming
with mythical, magical light
is lost, totally subsumed
by the glare of Truth that,
with cold, sober clarity,
illuminates each entity.
And everything
hidden there
deep, deep in the pith of you --
your greed or generosity,
your compassion or envy,
your rage or sympathy
-- must cast its own shadow,
be it noble or downright low.
