New Waves of Intellect and Heart

Twilight comes without incident Open to new waves of intellect I produce a realm of understanding Beyond the concept of easy thoughts She escapes me, and never finds Her way back into my disapproved Meandering mind of falsehood Whenever she reaps, I didn’t sow Those words, so she comes up With these things on her own, delving Deep into my soul she creeps along Finding whatever she could use to hurt And exploit, but never will it consume Me, in any way, shape, or form Will she conquer my new wave Form of thoughts, belonging to only One in this realm of understanding… Now, this is someone that cares, pleases And harbors hope, beyond the delightful Words eloquently portrayed upon her Own heart, that I have sown, she does Harbor within herself, and newly Discovered intelligence becomes truth Because of the reality of the situation And she produces whatever I can muster Up to believe in, and she becomes That which I understand, and desire Upon, she never leaves me yearning By the wondrous world of grace and freedom We believe in the waves of our hearts Russell Sivey

A collaboration and understanding should be established between mind and heart for any relationship to be well balanced and harmonious. A profound poem that shows the way to do it dear friend, Russell! Excellent work my friend!
