New Beginnings

New Beginnings When the Winter Solstice turns toward the sun, Orion the Hunter climbs the Winter’s sky, The passing seasons’ annual cycle run, The old and fading year settles down to die. And in the early hours of that Solstice dawn The miracle of re-birth then comes that morn And the year renewed before that Winter’s sun, At the moment the failing year’s time is done.
