Never Will Be

Traveled the world Tasted bright lights Toasted all those towns On those far away nights The price for the show How things had to be The crowds grew large And so did the lonely Thinking of you Dreaming of home Glory feels empty When you are alone But I couldn’t quit Addicted to fame Blinded by pride Couldn’t feel your pain The sun always rose And hid the dark nights I got lost in the music Forgot long-distant fights The band became family You were so far away Another night’s concert A hollow end to the day Thinking of you Dreaming of home Glory feels empty When you are alone But I couldn’t quit Addicted to fame Blinded by pride Couldn’t feel your pain You begged me come home Said I will one day soon But more cities called And I always found room My mind was out there When our little one passed You needed to be first But I made you feel last Was I thinking of you Was I dreaming of home Why go back on the road Leaving you all alone Now you too are gone So blind couldn’t see I was writing of love That now never will be ~Lyric Man Note: Love can be right in front of you.. and you still miss it!

Sometimes its all too easy to forget the things in life that need our focus, our attention and our love the most, and that is the people closest to us ... Though a tough subject to write about, you still penned this in such a beautiful way, Lyric Man.

A heart felt poem. I am so sorry about the choice that tore your love apart. I can feel all the emotions on both sides. You described it very well. Since I was once married to a musician I can understand this poem. I wish you only the best. I will keep you in my prayers.

A very emotional verse Dave, you were torn between the two, when we look back we realise that sometimes we made the wrong choice in our path, but we all make mistakes in our lives. Hope you are well. Tom

A heart being filled with so many emotions, sometimes finds it difficult to feel the most important one. Never allow your mind to take you to a dark place, and stay. Your thoughts touch me deeply. I am here for you. ~ Brandy
