Upon a landscape snowy and bright Sun glistens in flakes along their flight Down into a home they've never known Guided by a resilience they've always shown A deer bounds close and seems to hear As my footsteps near Briefly, it turns to look Majestic as though from a book All around, life sings its familiar song Suddenly, I realizs what's been wrong In the quest for our money We have disrupted nature's harmony
