In the still waters of the morning’s glow, I’ve watched the Frozen silence as the moon quietly melts away, into the chilling Warmth of the rising run rays, that slowly spills across the lake shore! Ever gently the dawn horizon casts mystical colors, blending, bending The light unto the shadows of night, which are quietly being swallowed By the creaking new days silent approach! Hush now, and listen to the stirring of the tiny sparrows, within there High perched dwellings above, in the ancient oaken trees of long ages past These singing song birds of the country, welcome the birthing of the newest Sunrise masterpiece, that clings to the outstretching sky of deepest blue! Freedoms clarity of thoughts devotion, fills the heart and soul of the this Spiritual soul, gleaning it a poetic canvas of awes amazement, behold Nature in splendors freeze! Through these mystic pines I do sigh, as the wind brushes my hair aside, Against my bare flesh it leaves me breathless, what a wondrous world To live within, that holds such beauty and wonderment! In the meadow the horses run free, racing against the morning breeze, Eating the wild flowers, and munching on the clover leaves, here the City seems a million miles away, no stress impedes this captivating Scenery of this simplicity painted more beautiful than any picture Perfect living postcard. In the late afternoon coolness of the evening, the locusts, and crickets Corus seemingly join together in perfect unisons harmony to serenade, The porch dwelling rocky chair elders, whom rest at leisure’s ease, Enjoying retirements gentler years at peaceful calms retreat! Come along let’s chase the lightning bugs, across the wide open fields Its child plays without adult’s restrictions, I’m all in with laughter’s joyous Abandonment, feeling the cold wet evening dew between my bare unsaddled Feet! Above the opal full moon illuminates the vast open skies, as the stars Sparkle to the glistening world in glorious brilliance, I’m humbled to The infinite expanse of this massive universe, for which us human beings Exist, we are just after all just a small grain of sand in this hourglass Galaxy so fragile! Filling my uncluttered senses, I can smell the fragrances of the country Evening air, the wild honeysuckle, the jasmine mixing with the alpine Scent of the distant mountains, here is a Nirvana paradise of my Four fathers, a simpler way of life lost to the city dwellers world Beyond! At any moment I’ll awaken from this beautiful dreaming realm Of peaceful living, but until then my spirit shall linger here in this Natural splendor in perfections ultimate freeze, just a poet wishing On a distant vision forever in slumbers tranquility!
