My Valentine It comes from out of nowhere like lightening from the skies. I can almost hear your laughter, I can almost see your eyes. My body starts to tremble from my head down to my feet. My minds it starts to race and my heart skips a beat. I start to perspire where no one else can see. Then I get this feeling somethings missing inside me. My palms they both start sweating I'm filled with fearful hope. I start to discombobulate I'm not sure I can cope. I called the doctor on the phone he said I'll be just fine. He wrote me a prescription for you to be my Valentine. Cause each time that it happens that I start to fall apart. My thoughts on you, I know it's true I've got you on my heart. Edwin C Hofert
