My Song

I know that the Lord, has good things set for me I just have to stand in this line I wish I had'em now, but in time I'm sure I'll see That everything for me, will be just fine But I dare not close one eye No, I dare not even blink 'Cause things will move much faster than I think I want to catch it, I want to be it I want to be there just to see it When the Good Lord looks at me and gives a wink I want to show I'm grateful, for all he's done for me But I'm always looking for another feat To save me from that something, that hasn't happened yet Several times, He had to sit me, on my seat He tells me not to worry, but yet I worry still A condition, I know I have to change I know what ever happens, it has to be His will Therefore, I really can't complain But the Devil's on my trail, He's nipping at my heels and it seems that I'm always on the edge He's got me running He's got me fleeing "till that Great, Almighty Being plucks my worthless mortal soul, right off the ledge Sorry---Got to run......again !

Nice write, Jerry. I love your playful view of God. I have come to the conclusion that He has a great sense of humor, and the picture of Him winking at you and plucking you off a ledge definitely fits His playful side.

Since we are made in his image, I am sure, there are times, we give him a big belly laugh. Thank you so much Cona.
