My Prayer For Unity

Dear Lord, You created us in your likeness, And You hoped that someday we follow in your greatness. But we turned away from peace and happiness, And forgot Your teachings about oneness. Lord, we pray that you use your powerful hand, To touch our hearts and give peace in our land. We ask of nothing that is grand, Because it is only through Your love that we can find the comfort that we want. Please give us love for each other Dear Lord, So that we find unity in the midst of different religions, No matter what race and culture we may be, It shall only be the love and peace we will see.
