My Poetic World
I live in a world which blends perfectly
with the mind of a realist.
There are all kinds of ills and agony
that I cannot swallow or accept,
out of guilt and helplessness.
I cannot change the world,
but I can create my own world in my thoughts;
a world where pollution, atrocities and prejudice
don't exist;
a world where my Ex cannot reach me;
a world where auroras are visible everywhere,
with myriad of shooting stars in the air....
I may seem cowardice not to face the real world,
but so much bliss and beauty lies in the world
I create in ink....
