My Own Cooking
You take an onion, chop it up real good.
You throw it in a pan under the cook top hood.
You add a little Lowry's and some ground beef.
You have the beginnings to end all your grief.
For half the price you can use ground turkey.
And there are times that come's out a bit quirky.
But be it taco's, helper stroganoff. or S O S.
I'll guarantee that it will be worth the mess.
If others are eating what you have cooked.
If you don't tell them too much, they'll be hooked.
This is where it's important to say grace.
Then, if they don't like it, just get outta my face.
But remember you have to keep the peace.
Because somebody's gotta clean up all this grease.
And it's only fair that it is not the cook.
Yeah, you can bet, you're gonna get a look.
But when the dishes have all been done.
And everyone feels like having some fun.
It's best to not get too excited.
Then maybe you'll get reinvited.
