My Love Language

I love out of loyalty , respect , relevance, trust , and time , so to not love someone who has been with you every day in your daily life is absurd, I say all the time , people love gestures , big moments of displays of grandeur.But to me it's the day to day every day 24/7 that really counts , and though love can be one sided , you can love someone  , appreciate them ,  value them , regard them. They can not even see you the same , they can tolerate, or accept your presence as it benefits them , to me love is , you don't bring anything to my life but, you yourself , your presence is the value. Everything you do is a bonus to that love ,  but if you can't do anything. I still want you in my life. Most people see love as what can you bring , give , benefit , connect me to , boost my self worth or make me feel. That's not love. Love is the good , the bad , the ugly , the dark moments. The I have no reason to want to , I can't even explain why I do. When you love and your loved past your flaws , your problems and  hang ups. It's easy to love someone who is always their best , all the time. Who never does anything wrong. Who doesn't have bad days. Think about it ,  people love their favorite sports players when they make big plays and win. Michael Jordan , Tom Brady , Kobe Bryant , Paton Manning , Lebron James. Their all loved until they have an off day and don't score or switch teams. It's easy to love a person who is rich , that always gives us money , that always has time for us , is always there to listen , who helps us with emotional and physical pain. Who shares what ever they have with us. Who never tells us no , who complements us and encourages us. But what about the people who don't have anything to give , the people who are broken themselves , the people who deal with us at our worst times. The times when we're selfish , inconsiderate , obnoxious , drunk , high , pissed off , hard to deal with. The people who help you move , let you sleep on their couch , loan you their car , the ones who only have $20 but give you ten so your okay. The ones who give you a ride to work and don't ask for gas money. The ones that sit up late nights with you , when your hearts broken , or have a job to do or practice. Those are the ones who get forgotten when most reach the top. When people get rich and successful they always name the people around them at the time they reach their dreams. But not the people they stepped on , used , benefited from along the way.
