My Hijab

As-salamu alaykum, I embrace the Hijab, A source of comfort, a symbol of my identity. Worn with faith, a connection to Allah, His promise echoes: “Remember Me, and I will remember you.” In serving Allah, I find happiness, For obedience brings divine reward. Amidst the whispers of others, questioning, “Do you not feel the heat? Are you not in pain?” Yet, a smile emanates from my heart, A reminder of Allah’s pledged recompense. I proudly serve, for what else am I here for, If not to honor and obey the Creator? To those who don’t wear the Hijab, Why hide your identity, the essence of Islam? Be proud, for in your pride, you honor your faith, Let not the judgments of others weigh you down. Sisters, stand tall, for if not for you, Then for whom is this journey of faith? In the tapestry of belief, let your Hijab shine, A reflection of your commitment, a testament of divine design.
