My Dark Knight

I once travelled a rustic road and trembled in to this Dark Knight The eyes calm yet a storm brewing deep inside Casually strolling, he made his way into the dungeon of my soul His tongue twined yet humming my name, my sanity he stole At a T junction, he stands still, ready to swallow me in his ocean This dusky soul descends profoundly in to my throat in a gentle motion Teases me for hours then chooses to travel the opposite direction Not half a man nor animal; no verbal interaction Lost in the forest, a hunter once but now a beast Looking for his Beauty from north to east His Fangs full of might But he wouldn’t blink, least of this priceless possession, he lost sight Protests forced the forsaking of this quest An army fallen to his sword; broken he returned to the west Like all the short lived splendors in his life, I too, a temporary immigrant Alas, he now spends the rest of his life as an insane vagrant

that was intense to say the least....the end was very unexpected and it added quite a punch to the poem. This really was exceptional.
