My Childlike Eyes

These childlike eyes will make you smile... Lift your heart up to the sky,if only for a while... These childlike eyes can steal your pain... Raise up your dreams and keep you sane... These childlike eyes have a different view... The colors are bright and the words remain true... These childlike eyes do cry at times... But they disappear on paper with my rhymes...

Awe yes, and I did comment on this poem once, I always say within me dwells the little girl I was, some say to feel good, just talk to a child, it is that unconditional openness they give that is so beautiful, as your poem is, in my job as Geriatric Nurse, the frail elderly have this same childlike mindset and it is beautiful to embrace, the circle of life is clear and divine~~

If you can see the world around you through the eyes of a child, you are a very lucky man, Michael. Such a beautiful poem. I especially love the last verse. Love, Carolyn

Well, may your childlike eyes forever twinkle, Michael-- I think the gleam that children have in their eyes are the best-- and you know why? Since the sparkle of life is just Alive! so lucky you for having childlike eyes-- may it never dim for you! and ahh what pray tell does "CL" mean?? Curious Loony? Coolest Loony? or maybe just maybe Creative Loony? Cackling Loony? Cruelest Loony? choose well, my friend-- choose well-- haha-- thanks for always making me smile as well :D enjoyed this a lot!
