Mothers Men
First there was one
Then there was another
I still remember watching
One fighting with my brother
First this one
Then that one
One with a beard
And then a fat one
Always wondering
If my daddy's
Ever gonna be the next one
None of mothers men liked me
I'd have to run outside
They never could find me
Way up in my tree, where i'd hide
None taught me more than to hate
Not to fight
Not to fish
Not even to skate
Mothers men all hated me
won't complain about beatings
After all it was Gods will to be
