Morning In Penryn

Morning in Penryn what a beautiful scene Trees glistening with dew so majestic and green Each morning these trees greet the sun as it rises Creating portraits in the mind, natures many surprises As the years pass by I continue to cherish these gifts Even as age brings shadows to my eyes as time dances and drifts Someday all of this will vanish as all things must end But its memory will live on even as the majestic sun grows ever dim

You paint such a beautiful picture Charles, I've not been to Cornwall since I was a child; an absolute to read on this lovely spring day.I especially love the line 'Even as age brings shadows to my eyes as time dances and drifts' :-) hugs Jan xx
