More Than Sunsets and Rainbows

“Dear LORD,” I begin my weak prayers to You About sunsets, rainbows and morning dew Oh LORD, have I reduced You to my height? You the omnipotent One of great sight, John one sixteen spoke to me with power I have read, prayed and listened to You for hours ‘For of His fullness we have all received, And grace upon G R A C E’* --I had not conceived The depth, width, length of Your love flows within And thinking we don’t know where to begin You have gifted us with grace upon grace Unmerited love o’er and o’er in place Now, I understand ‘I can do all things Through Him who strengthens me’**- in You I sing, Thank You for giving wisdom and discernment I am glad for sunsets, rainbows heav’n sent But praise You that Your fullness was received Power You’ve giv’n – in You I trust and believe I stand in awe of Your kind, gracious plan— Grace upon Grace flowing from God to man -Evelyn Pearl Anderson *John 1:16 ** Philippians 4:13
