Money Is Not Good For Happiness

Money can't buy happiness The joy fun times and bliss We all search for everyday Can't be bought with someones pay It's inside your caring heart And the perfect place to start Finding a lifetime of memories You won't forget as you can see Them every time you think back To the good times you don't lack Money can not take the place Of a child's smiling face When they're wrapped in a hug so tight Or read a story every night Shiny cars and jewelery Are things some folks really need But they are just fanciness One day will lose the glitterness And sparkle they used to show But somebody's inner glow Will remain forever bright Never losing any sight That's kept safely locked away Until it's needed one day To lift someone back on their feet Or turn a bad day to sweet So money means nothing to me I'd rather be so happy I am never truly poor When someone opens a hearts door Spreading love and so much care I join in and want to share
