Monarch

Summer turned to fall leaves change colours the warmth has left like warmth of a life leaving cool weather a breath of death like the moodiness of fall a time of sorrow news of sadness death of a monarch a beloved queen who reigned supreme a life given to service just like seasons close so ends her reign God bless our queen.

As Anne-Lise says, may she rest in peace because her life of late had become so stress filled. I know she hated leaving England in such turmoil. It truly is the passing of an era. God Bless, JB

What a beautiful poem and tribute to the Late Queen Elizabeth . She was truly a wonderful human being who showed her love for her subjects in a very elegant way. It feels strange calling Prince Charles King Charles and I feel at a loss when I can't refer to Queen Elizabeth. May she find peace light and love where she has gone to and may Charles have the strength and support in his reign as did his mother. hugs and blessings Jennifer

Like Rico, I thought this would be about butterflies too. I am not a fan of the royals, but your poem was lovely.

Not all are a fan of the Royals like all are not fans of our political leaders. A mess is what I would call it nowadays. love phyl
