One of those incidences in life that you don't forget, even though
it happened so many moons ago!

Mom, I Bit Her Back” When I was a little girl, I had two older sisters who were in school and I was left at home with mom. I had a little girl friend across the street who was a little younger than I was but, she had a bad habit of biting people. Her name was Mary Ann. We would be playing for a while then, all of a sudden, she would bite me seemingly for no reason. I would run home crying to mom. Mom, in her place of authority, strict… would not feel sorry for me but, told me, if you come home crying one more time because Mary Ann bit you, I am going to spank you!!!! Hmmmm! I thought! And, probably the next day, I went over to play with her again, and sure enough, she bit me again but, this time, I bit her back and came running home to mom hollering, “Mom, I bit her back, I bit her back”! And, she never bit me again! True story!!!! Written by: Marilyn S. Jennings
