Mistakes

Here I am again saying sorry for my mistakes, For not bending my heart. There you stand tart, And I am the source of your pain, And I wish I could reframe This hole sticky situation. Can you feel my frustration, Felling yours, Still knowing closing doors Is the only way to go about. And I may create a drought, Empty of connection, Thirsty for affection From both ends of the line, Yet clarity your not mine Has been there all along, Trying to prove myself wrong Brought us to where we are. And now it's gone too far. So with all my being I must let you go, Farewell, my friend, And may inner pease bestow.
