Missing You Momma
What's life when it stopped after you
I can't seem to remember who I was
all I know is this lonely road I walk alone
is consumed with people who don't understand
I sit often and quietly
keeping all thoughts to myself
These used to be our conversations
and now they're dust on the shelf
there's not a second I don't think of you
the pain has become easier to hide
instead of telling you how I am
I retreat and subside
I never know when we'll meet again
or if it's a message you're trying to relay
all I really know is how deeply you're missed
and how for my whole life, I wish you stayed
