Misemployments
M isemployments historically abound,
I nterestingly enough, where no politicians are found.
S light of hand and twist of fact,
E nergies are wasted on the wrong tract.
M ost often there’s an underlying cause,
P reaching its’ worth won’t get any applause.
L essining the risk has no economic appeal,
O thers try repeatedly to obscure the deal.
Y ears go by with ever increasing investment,
M any troops are lost by political impressments.
E nter NOT some rhyme or reason,
N otwithstanding might be accusations of treason.
T here is one axiom to be used in order to win,
S urely we should remember, it’s harder to get OUT than IN!
For the acrostic challenge contest.
This in no way should cast any aspersions of our brave men and women in service.
God bless them all!
