Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS It’s that Christmas time of year Everybody is of good cheer The Christmas trees are covered with lots of tinsel and lights There are beautiful sights everywhere at night Santa Claus is on his way With Rudolph out the front, leading his sleigh It doesn’t matter where you live, whether near or far Santa Claus will find you wherever you are I love spending Christmas with family and friends We wish the day would never end Christmas Crackers will be cracked and torn And the paper hats found inside shall be worn There will be turkey and ham and trifle to eat And all sorts of other yummy treats Some people like eggnog to drink But that is not for me I think A shandy is the perfect drink for me Drinking it whilst chatting with loved ones sitting under a shady tree Have a very Merry Christmas and whatever you do, have a fun time Now that’s the end of my Christmas rhyme.
