Mental Health

Hope is such a powerful four-letter word, Perhaps the most powerful ever heard. Just think of all that the word hope implies, Beautiful crystal seas and clear blue skies. The ability to remove all your doubt, Hoping everything will just work out. As voices ramble through our mind; Questioning everything we hope to find, Like a monster rising up from the deep Depression makes us just want to sleep. Way down on the other end of the scale, Is not anxiety its own form own living hell? Catching your breath seems impossible to do, Like the entire world is caving in on you. Regardless of the challenges, we must face, Life is a long journey, life is not a race. With time, effort, and a helping hand; Against our inner demons, we can make a stand. We can search through the trials of the past, Face our demons and tear off their mask. Stripping them of every drop of their power, Leaving them no option but to run off and cower. With Mental Health Staff and some hope, Friends who help us learn how to cope. Emphatic people who help us on our path, Much like a Physicist figuring out the math. Offering hope as they help face our trials, Standing right beside us mile after mile; Sharing our laughter as well as our tears, Offering hope to help us conquer all of our fears.
