Memories of Melodies

you laid ‘neath the sill that soft July night, the sight of your silhouette, i shan’t forget- the bright crepuscular moon frees my fret, all the fright and fear have been erased -for my tenderness you embraced- metaphors of love permeate empty pages, a quill once frail, now vigorous- an aria of your mellifluous tune resounds in my unyielding mind MEMORIES of MELODIES our stars have aligned, my sweet- (formidable passion we designed) after twenty-four years of heat and frost no love was lost after twenty-four years of ups and downs we wear no frowns o mother earth, cease your rotation, so that we may stay in this moment for eternity- your soul carved into my marrow with ease, forever... running through my veins ***** 2.24.20

Passionate work, Laura. Yes, if we could only learn how to manipulate time because in reality, we know nothing lasts forever. Loved this one!
