Memories… Warm, Bright, Lovely, Wonderful Cherished so deep in my heart …and I’ll have them forever Memories… Cold, Dark, Ugly, Violent Disturbing me deep inside …and I’ll have them forever

very interesting this contrast. Eerily true!! I really enjoyed this, Chris, and to answer your question, I can carry on a conversation in Spanish; however, if I am in a large group of speakers where they are all using slang and speaking fast, I have a hard time following (especially certain movies in Spanish) I do love the language though.

Nice to hear from you Andrea, glad you enjoyed this. I admire those who can speak more than one language, since I failed to learn Spanish...although i do speak horse, so maybe that's my second language haha! :) C.H.

I couldn't have expressed myself any better, Chris! Memories are abstract pictures that are available in positive and negative, in black and white...I suppose some could be classified as 'neutral'. Pleased to see a new post of yours:) Regards // paul

So true Chris. One doesn't come without the other. How would we measure happiness if not to know the despair at the opposite end of the scale. Makes appreciating the 'bright' all the more special. Beautiful and wise xo
