Mary

My wish is not upon a star, Is not so near, yet not so far. It is to be forever with her, My radiant Queen, and no other. She my beauty of spirit and soul, She my Lady who fills every role. I ache, my heart aches to break, I offer my life for her to take. She my ruby, my pearl, my sapphire, My beloved Queen of Hearts desire. Majestic in blue, her sovereign lace, I yearn for her love, her sweet embrace. Long ago, ages past, she wore red. She watched her Son de-robed and bled. Her tears for Him that never dried, Her heart upon the cross, her Son crucified. Her spirit of love, of peace, of joy, She remembered those days when He was a boy. The Word outstretched, His body a smother; "Woman your son, son your Mother." My Mother, my Queen, my lady in waiting, Patiently, lovingly, tenderly baiting. Every breath of life drawn within, To praise, worship and exalt her King.
