Magic Kiss

That mountain top A distant thought High feels so low When I’m alone If I had known The weight of regret I remember when Way back then Just you and me I was your man We laid on the sand Watching the clouds Now here am I A darkened sky Waves splash my face Salt in my eyes Disguise my cries For long lost love The memories thrill In barefoot fields Of sweet yesterdays Girl, we held hands In promise lands Pink blossoms danced On this raging sea Alone, just me A thousand thoughts Scent of your hair Oh, I wonder where You are tonight Hope keeps me strong This journey long Will it lead to you Left you in the rain Quivering lips and pain Grieving my goodbye My ship’s coming home Driven to atone You’ve forgiven me Want to mend the past Have a love that last And see you smile Dreams of your face When we embrace Tears touch our lips Long romantic nights Chestnut delights That magic kiss ~Lyric Man Note: Not an overly poetic write, but a collection of thoughts tonight as I’m sailing home to you :)
