Loves Departure
I stand and watch as you depart,
And as you turn your head and glance,
The moment stills my heart...
When will we have another chance?
Your perfume lingers in the air
And tempts me yet to call aloud.
We should be careful not to stare,
Our love contained beneath a shroud.
Until we dare next share a kiss,
I'll hold this moment in my heart.
And with each breath I take I'll miss
You, as I do now you depart.
