Love Trilogy - Lei's Perspective
You took away the crown that you put on my head.
You placed a frown on my face and put my heart into the dead.
The Prince I used to dream in my lovely fairytale;
He threw the years of love away at the distant vale.
When you had your option to leave me in misery,
I met a country kid who has worked his life at the fishery.
He was not rhythmical of his verses unlike you I supposed.
Maybe he is an overly confident person but very composed.
And so I couldn’t speak out loud that I have moved on.
I’ll play the heartbreak-strings of my guitar and groove on.
I wish to walk with a man alongside the coast,
But you are not that man anymore; love has no more cost.
I want to pick all these broken pieces of my heart and recreate one.
This pain is ephemeral and too shall be gone.
I believe in chances and I believe in waiting…
All at once, in the righteous timing.
