Love of Pink and Blue

In shades of pink and blue, a love did bloom, A tale of two colors, bright and true, But fate had other plans, a tragic doom, For Romeo and Juliet, and their hues. Pink was the color of her blushing cheeks, And blue the color of his passionate eyes, But their love was forbidden, so to speak, Their families' feud, a barrier so high. They met in secret, beneath the moonlight, And swore their love to each other, so sweet, But their colors clashed, a dangerous sight, Their families' wrath, impossible to beat. In pink and blue, their love was true and pure, But in the end, it was their colors' lure. Their fate was sealed, their love torn apart, A tragedy that broke both pink and blue hearts. :: 02.23.2023 ::
