Love Is

Love is...feeling safe, tucked in by mom..closing your eyes to the sound of her voice..and knowing daddy is protectively close by. Love is...that first love...the one love...you'll never forget. How they felt, how they kissed. Your heart feels heavy when you think of them and wonder if they still think of you. Love is...stubborn...routine...strong... The kind of love that survives life. Patient when passion doesn't work and passionate when patience doesn't...Best friend love. Love is...just weird We use this word to describe so many feelings, but to me in the end... it simply means I care more about you than I do myself.... ©Donna Jones 11-19-2013

Such a beautiful written poem, how right are you by describing different type of loves, if a girl tells you that she loves you, it doean t mean that she s interested in you, their s also something calls friends love, it s all about caring for each other, love has do many meaning but in the end it s what you tell, caring for someone more than yourself, a really nice poem

Your descriptions of love brought me to my wife's heart where most of it rests! You have written of the love at which we love another more than ourselves, I believe that is the key to a beautiful relationship, if you do that you will have a long and strong, heartfelt relationship that will last forever! You have listed a grouping of meanings of love that is so true, I was in awe of it's complexity though still in simple words! You did awesome! What a perfect poem, Great Work!!

True love is hard to define for sure..The love we feel for another can be different from one person to another..Jesus, asked Peter did he love Him..He started off with agape' love and went down..The Greek language has words for different kinds of love..Enjoyed reading your great work today..If for a contest, it reads like a winner..I am glad that you liked my work about the hot air..I did another one called Politics..You might enjoy it also..Sara
