Love Ends In October

Victory was yours Prizes were lures You screamed like a kid when I became yours This game is not your first But you’ve been through thirst I pour the love that you need So, I placed you my first Glory was our upper hand The trophy was a grand We were too perfect for a “match” It was exciting beforehand Rules have quickly changed My shimmer made me estranged “Don’t you like what you see?” I see everything has changed. Communication matters Our mosaic shatters Should trust be our issue? If love is all that matters The bout ends with no closure I destroyed my composure An explanation should not be a ghost I need proper closure.
