Love and Hate

I loved your song that made me forget all that’s wrong. I loved your smile that made me smile too for a while. I loved your friendship that made me feel sweet kinship. I loved your art printed on my mind and on my heart. I loved your poetry so deep that swept me off my feet. Now I hate my love that was true but now is black and blue. I hate your love that took flight with a black bird of black night. I hate the tears I’ve shed in vain. I hate this love pain. I hate my need and I hate my heart. I really can understand where you are coming from Carole in this wonderful emotive write, and at the risk of seeming hard and unemotional (and again this is strictly speaking for myself) I would say that things pass, love passes, hurt passes,one door closes, another opens. I would look for the one that opens and stays open my dear friend. A fave for the emotions....Maria hugs

Carole.. hate and love live next door to one another. Both control your emotions. The opposite of love is not hate, it's to be forgotten, completely ignored in thoughts as well as actions. As long as you hate there's a chance!
