Lost Souls

Together they walked into a deep mist, as they salvaged for what remained of their souls. Their hands were held together in a straight line. Each person had a name for his or her soul on their palms. "Do not let go each other's arms!" they cautioned each other. Little did they know their souls didn't want to be found; didn't want to return to their bodies; they had experienced lots of misery in their past lives. They just wanted their bodies long gone; in their graves....
