Look Up, There's Hope

Look Up, There's Hope! Let's set aside the gory stuff, Of that, we've had our fill enough. Let's focus on what makes us smile, And ponder on good for just a while. Nature, in its bounty, gives us strength, And mends the fabric that we have rent. The little plants strive with hope, Valiantly blooming as they toil and grope. The fauna still thrive despite our greed, As we deplete them for our unwarranted need. The smile of an infant lights up our days, As we hack our paths through wicked ways. Rejoice and look up, there's still time, For loftier things, for the sublime! ~kcm 10 Apr 2023
