Living On Hope
I love someone who I wish loved me.
But this one way window won't let me see.
If she would even let me in.
Long enough for love to win.
It's been a very long long time.
I've just been filling up with rhyme.
Waiting just to let her know.
How my love can only grow.
Some where in this universe.
An entity has removed the curse.
And hope has filled this heart of mine.
Telling me some how it will be fine.
She's the answer to that very prayer.
I said to Jesus as I sat there.
Asking him to be with me.
So inside my heart, he could see.
I really shouldn't be surprised.
He saw the dream that I devised.
And brought to life a fantasy.
That you were made just for me.
Some may say I'm old and foolish.
But I prayed, I didn't wish.
And here you came into my life.
I truly hope you'll be my wife.
