Live To Work
In England men just live to work
grab pleasure when they can,
it’s working that controls the life
of every Englishman.
The English should take lessons
on the reason for their life,
surely there is so much more
than constant toil and strife.
Too busy for their children,
too busy for their wife
by the time they take a second glance
they’ve not much left of life.
Work’s robbing them of families
and robbing them of friends,
stealing every ounce of time
it never, never ends.
All Englishmen just live to work
have nothing left to give,
when will they start to realize
that they should work to live…..
