Like Diamonds in the Trees
The freezing rain fell through the night as Mother Nature cast her curse and in the morn the world affright. The chilling sight seemed so adverse; a frozen wasteland getting worse. But sunrise on the second day found Mother Nature’s new display as in the trees with icy tone reflections in the sun’s bright ray like diamonds on the branches shown.

Simply beautiful John. Had a fairly mild winter in my corner of the world but would loved to of seen these diamonds where I live...maybe next winter. Emilia. P.S. I would still buy your book if you ever published your poems John.

Thank you, Connie, I’m glad you enjoyed it. I have always found Dizains difficult but I found that splitting it in two made it easier. Hugs, John

"like diamonds on the branches" There is something magical about such a moment, when ice adorns our world. As the sun lingers, causing the ice to glisten and then softly melt away, it is such a beautiful sight. You have painted a lovely picture with your words, my dear sweet friend. My best to you. :) Hugs, Brandy
