Let The Music Begin
On a podium of serenity and gracefully raised,
Black and white dressed she holds every gaze,
A banquet of musicians displayed for a queen,
Polite applause echoing amidst strangers unseen.
Gentle a tap of the antiquated baton supreme,
Heads bowed in reference a musicians dream,
The lowering of lights the hush of the lips,
The maestro animated supremely equipped,
As if plucked from the soul the sonate begins,
A lament without voice a broken heart on a chin ,
Ebony and ivory, soothing memories once known,
Defining passion in music, dressed ladies in gowns,
The rapturous applause touched in echoes of waves,
A symphony raised to it's feet, in honour and praise .
