Leslie Anne
Leslie Anne
Leslie Anne was not a man, and she was not a girl.
She tried the best anyone can, damn sure gave it a whirl.
No matter how she tried, she ended up denied.
And somehow in the end she just would not be justified.
The years went by living a lie.
Or so that's how it seemed.
But truth be told when we get old.
It's not what we had dreamed.
One day things change and you've no choice.
But answer in your new found voice.
It seems you've come too far to stop.
As you've waited so long for that ball to drop.
Not everyone can understand.
Why some obey such a command.
The answer lies somewhere inside.
Where some identity's divide.
And sometimes when the world turns round.
Confusions all that some have found.
The winds don't always blow so straight.
For some it's just a twisted fate.
When life turns you inside and out.
And leaves you filled with so much doubt.
The truth will never tell a lie.
No matter how you try to defy.
