Legacy

Legacy I ponder of a younger time Flashbacking to another clime when youth was virile I recall I set my sails for to explore the wonders of the world to see Awaiting me but not to be I did not set the world on fire No more dreams could I aspire resigned to know there was no more Despite the fact I did succeed in rearing life to fill my need A legacy when I am gone Millennials must heed the call to make our world a better place to mark and leave a future trace eliminate the common thrall free to express the constant thrum a bell that tolls of things come

- Yes, then ... "when the youth was virile" ... all dreams ... everything we wanted to change, even though we didn't set the world on fire ... a wonderful poem, Ralph :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)
