It Is Nothing But a Rose

It was nothing but a rose... A beautiful rose, a sweet rose, but a rose nonetheless. And it grew and it bloomed. And for a while, it made him happy. But no rose lasts forever. It was nothing, but a... But a tragedy, a bitter sweet summer love. But a facade, for it wasnt true. But a joyous thing, for it made him happy. But a rose. It was nothing, but- But it made him happy, was that not enough? But it was love, was it not? But it was true, it was concrete, right? But... i no longer know if i want it. It was nothing. It never existed. It doesnt exist. It never will exist. And so it was, so it is, and so it will be. It was... It was a summer rose. It arose in the early spring. It died in the late summer. It was, but, it'll never be. It. It was a horrid thing. It was non-existent. It was an amazing thing. It was nothing but a summer rose.
