Light is the beginning of all things,
A singularity every day.
The dawn of life and birth of time
llluminate the way,
Exploding through the universe,
Either cosmic or personal;
Spreading out through inner space,
Light for each individual.
It's ours to catch and ours to use,
A shooting star across the sky
Of our lifetime, to show and teach
And seed in us life's reason why ...
Why light spreads out across the heavens;
Bright new stars in cosmic array
Which illuminate the birth of time,
A singularity every day.
