In the End
In the end, when truth reveals itself
When all the words that ever were
Arranged in every way that can ever be
When we have said everything
When nothing more can ever be said
Will that bring us the promised peace
When Heaven launched its war on evil
And split the universe in two
And gave to man the sword of death
And gave to him his righteous hand
When Heaven failed to banish demons
But gave them their own kingdom too
Can words so wise erase that blunder
Or does man perish in the lies
